Corncockle. Agrostemma githago.
$ 17.72
Corncockle is an easy to grow annual flower that has a simple but nonetheless beautiful pink flower. In a previous life, Corncockle was a bane to the life of arable farmers as it would grow profusely in Corn and other crops. I grow Corncockle a little tighter together than my other flowers or even simply plant them among my other flowers which are generally spaced to a foot apart. This is because Corncockle can be blown over by the wind in an open area if they are not supported. This may account for why they did so well in the cornfields of course. Seeds In Packet: 50ish Height: 75cm Hardy Annual. Sow in late March-May Late August-Early September.
